Jesse Mack migrated to Somerset from Lancashire and has made her home in Frome. Her first book, The Last Dragon, is set in Lyme Regis in Dorset, which she visits often.

Having a large family and a background in education, she writes for both adults and children and feels passionately about the benefits of older and younger readers reading together. She is one of the founding members of Frome Writers’ Collective and has several books on the go, with a powerful story set in the Lancashire moors next on the list for publication.
